ABL Group renames to Aqualis
Oslo-listed international consultancy group ABL Group ASA is renamed Aqualis ASA. The group’s subsidiaries deliver marine, energy, engineering and technical services to the renewables, maritime and oil and gas industries.
The background for the proposal is to eliminate confusion among clients, employees and investors arising from the current dual use of “ABL” as the name of both the listed group entity and the group’s energy and marine consultancy, ABL.

The Aqualis group consists of the following four operating brands:
- Energy and marine consultancy ABL
- Energy and software consultancy AGR
- Renewable energy consultancy OWC
- Design and engineering consultancy Longitude
The Aqualis name derives from the original Aqualis Offshore which was founded in 2012 and subsequently listed on Oslo Stock Exchange in 2014.
